always make sure your next roll , if it is double 6's, that you are able to safety all checkers, if you move and see that your next roll well leave an open checker for a hit, then it is the wrong move. if you are able to bear in and safety all checkers with the roll of double 6's, all other rolls are safe. try it , it does work .

this works in any position when bearing in, not just the one i showed, no matter how many checkers you have left to bring home, if your next roll is double 6's and they end up all safe , then that is the right roll no matter what comes up next on the dice.

so in other words with a 6 4 roll you would move from 15 to five ? so a dble 6 would not leave you vunerable ? on your next roll
